Roy has been active in the local branch of CAMRA for many years. Kim was the Landlord at the Dead Poets Inn at Holbrook.

Current situation

Kim has expanded the Pub business entering into a joint venture with Everards Brewery to open the Poet and Castle at Codnor. Between the two pubs most of the output from the 3¹/₂ Brewers Barrel plant is soon accounted for.

Company History

Planning started in 2006 - Roy had recently retired from being tormented by computers in HSBC and was enjoying a pint with Kim at the Old Poets Corner. Kim suggested all we need to make this a perfect pub is "its own brewery"! So the search begins....
